The probe bar at the bottom is always active. Type a concept and every matching direction lights up across all three modes. The 5×5-pixel strip is the actual binary hypervector fingerprint — each cell is one direction; blue = activated, dim = silent. Hamming distance between two such strips is what chitta uses for recall.
